Premium 3-Piece, PTFE-Lined Construction

Every AZ Rod Ends heim joint is a true 3-piece design — a forged housing, a hardened ball, and a PTFE (Teflon) liner bonded between them. Unlike 2-piece economy rod ends that run metal-on-metal, the PTFE liner gives you a self-lubricating, low-friction bearing surface that won't seize, gall, or require greasing. The result is smoother articulation under load, dramatically less wear, and no slop developing over time.

The liner also absorbs vibration and shock that would otherwise transfer straight into the joint and your chassis, making these ideal for high-load steering, suspension, and race applications where a loose rod end isn't an option.
